UCNLEARN app for iPhone and iPad

The UCNLEARN app is designed to digitalize the process of reading intervention. It leverages technology such as speech recognition, image recognition and multi-sensory design to increase motivation and engagement. It allows the tutor/teacher to create blended learning experiences while keeping close track of the student’s progress with advanced learning analytics.

The tutor/teacher can build their own customized lessons by leveraging a combination of their own worksheets and a mix of unique interactive questions that have been developed by UCNLEARN. The lessons can be shared and be delivered in three main ways:

• live online (synchronous): with video and screensharing options that allow the tutor/teacher to teach a remote live session.

• In person (synchronous): with a screen sharing option that allows the tutor/teacher and student to sit in the same room and view the lesson on their iPads.

• Independent work (asynchronous): allows the student to complete independent lessons asynchronously (either pre- or post-lesson activities) and submit the work for the tutor’s review.

By leveraging the above features and capabilities, the UCNLEARN app aims to create an end-to-end learning flow experience that will not require the student or the tutor/teacher to juggle between multiple learning platforms.
